Engineering Department Clearance - Newton Rigg College

This is the engineering department of the former Newton Rigg College in Penrith. The photos don't do the vastness of the area justice. This was a complicated part of a much larger clearance due to the scale of the agricultural equipment and specialist nature of the equipment involved.

As Newton Rigg was originally an agricultural college, the engineering department was at the heart of the campus. This made the loading and removing of the larger items particularly challenging as it was a busy part of the site.

Specialist cutting equipment was brought in to assist with some of the larger pieces of equipment, such as industrial work benches and test chambers.
